Research is a critical element in the executive search process. The goal is to identify a selected group of individuals possessing the background and qualifications for each specific client situation.

The Firm has its own Research Department, headed up by an individual with a Master's degree in Library Science. The Firm maintains a large database, and has sophisticated computer technology to assist in the research process.

A hallmark of the Firm is to provide original research for each client assignment. Although routinely consulting the Firm's own database for prospective candidates, it is the Firm's philosophy that the special needs of each client require an individual and extensive research effort.

Most often, the best candidates are those not actively seeking a
new situation, and are not a population that would respond to a general solicitation. After contacting individuals identified through research, the presentation of the client's opportunity to this targeted group is done in a manner that is professional and stimulating.
